The next edition of a fair that runs once a year on the lawns of Eridge Park, near Tunbridge Wells, with rolling views over the High Weald of Kent, takes place on Friday and Saturday, May 12-13.
Now in its 16th year, the Decorative Living Fair attracts some 70 dealers selling English and continental antiques and is a good call for the trade looking to buy European stock which has already passed through the Customs tangle.
As co-organiser Caroline Zoob says: “There are fewer French dealers coming over here and fewer dealers going to France to buy. A number of our dealers have braved the difficulties of buying in France so our fair is a great opportunity for the trade to find newly sourced stock from English and foreign markets.”
New dealers at this very popular event where few visitors leave without a purchase include Frenchman Thibaut Bizeul of Kingsbridge Antiques and Interiors selling French antiques and Daniela Lichters offering antiques from Sweden.
