The successful candidate will take on the responsibility of the majority of valuation
and cataloguing for our monthly General and Antiques auction, which
typically includes between 300 and 500 lots of affordable antiques,
silver, jewellery, porcelain, furniture, and collectibles.

This position would suit someone with previous experience as a
general valuer in an auction house; experience as an auctioneer
is preferred but not essential. You will have good administrative
and computer skills, a keen eye for detail, an excellent standard of
customer service, good telephone manner, and the ability to work
well as part of a small team.

Duties will include valuations online and in person on our valuation
days; consigning, processing lots, accurately cataloguing them
for the online catalogue, and suitable promotion of lots where
appropriate. We also provide probate valuations within the local area,
so a car and driving licence are essential.

Working hours are ideally 9am-5pm Monday to Friday,
and one half Saturday a month; hours are negotiable.

Salary dependent on experience.
