Posteritati have had some cracking exhibitions this year and this latest, Monsters and Robots, looks no exception with posters for sci-fi and classic horror movies from the 1930s to 1970s. The show puts under the spotlight the sometimes kitsch and often dramatic poster artwork which is often more memorable than the films themselves.

Among the posters is this one, right, for the 1957 movie Attack of the Crab Monsters which costs in the region of $2000. Others include a Polish poster for Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 featuring the computer Hal; atomic scare movies from the 1950s like Attack of the 50ft Woman and Creature from the Black Lagoon and, of course, Dracula and Frankenstein subjects.
