Partridges have traditionally relied on sales from their own Bond Street premises in London, but they are now actively looking for new markets.

An overseas fair debut at the Biennale in Paris next September is to be followed by a 10-day exhibition to be held at the Dickinson Roundell galleries in New York in January 2003.

Partridge recorded a pre-tax loss of £5000 on turnover of £4.6m during the six months up to April 30, 2002.

This represents a considerable improvement on their performance for the previous six months which resulted in losses of £442,000.
