I have already mentioned quite a few of the exhibitions and this week here are two more which are well worth a visit, both in Corn Street, Witney, Oxfordshire.
At number 86 W.R. Harvey, long established specialists in fine English furniture, have mounted A Dictionary of English Furniture, a novel display of exhibits covering the whole alphabet from A for armchair to Z for zebrawood.
At number 96-100, Witney Antiques, top international dealers in samplers, show just why they have achieved that status with an exhibition Samplers: An Exceptional Endeavour – A Childhood Legacy.
Last chance to see the Cotswolds shows
A REMINDER that there is still some time to catch the 18 special exhibitions mounted by members of The Cotswolds Antique Dealers Association as part of their annual exhibitions fortnight, and this year to celebrate the association’s 25th anniversary. The shows are scheduled to close on October 25, but I am sure there will still be some exhibition items on sale after that date.
