He has booked up Chiswick Town Hall, London W4 for 12 monthly Sunday fairs next year under the title Antiques @ W4.

The first will be held on January 25 with more than 70 exhibitors. The Richmond event, which is quarterly, could only host 40 and was over-
subscribed.

Cliff promises visitors to his new Chiswick event the same “buyer-friendly shopping experience” that he engendered at Antiques @ Star and Garter and feels with its excellent shops and road and public transport links the new Chiswick venue is a winner.

Incidentally, some new visitors to Chiswick Town Hall might find the surroundings familiar. In 1901 the architect Arthur Ramsden remodelled the Victorian interior with oak panelling, stained glass and many Art and Crafts features. The marble staircases above mosaic floors lead to the Council Chamber which gained television fame as the court rooms in both Taggart and Inspector Morse.
Apparently stand sizes are large and start at £70.
