He says the event has thrived of late and, consequently, he is increasing considerably the space allocated to outside pitches – up to as much as 35 acres.
An introductory offer of £40 per outside pitch (for one or three days) has, Mr Taylor, tells me, “obviously gone down well among the trade as demand for outside pitches has doubled.”
Public entrance from 10.30am is £3.50 with early trade entry at 8am costing £10.

THERE will be fairs aplenty in Harrogate this month, generally of the standfitted type one associates with that elegant Northern venue. First up, however, is an unashamed showground event from September 5 to 7 when Lincolnshire organiser George Taylor, who operates as Grosvenor Exhibitions, stages his Great Northern International Antiques and Collectors Fair at the town’s Great Yorkshire Showground.
