Run by East Anglian organiser Liz Allport-Lomax, local buyers were to the fore but custom came from further afield: lighting specialists Norfolk Decorative Antiques sold an 1840 crystal chandelier to Derbyshire visitors and picked up a useful restoration commission from Edinburgh.
Langton Green Antiques from Tunbridge Wells almost sold out.
Overall furniture proved the best seller but pictures, silver and early metalware also did well.
Easter cheer
JUST two of the 31 dealers standing at the fourth North Norfolk Fine Art and Antiques Fair at Sussex Barn, Burnham Market over Easter (April 10 to 12) did badly, and although the gate was slightly down on last year spending was definitely up.
