The show features stock drawn from four dealers, and will include some textiles other than quilts. But the core of the exhibition is the personal collection of 60 British patchwork quilts which has been built up over many years by the dealer and publisher Richard Dennis, whose company is based in Somerset.

The Dennis quilts are priced from £200 to £5000.

Pennard House is a picturesque country house at the top of the village of East Pennard, which houses the decorative stock of seven different dealers, most of them recently relocated from Bath.

While Mr Dennis runs his publishing business from Somerset, he is better known to many as a pioneering dealer in art pottery and he retains his London gallery at 144 Kensington Church Street, W8.

From June 2 to 12 at the Kensington gallery he holds a selling exhibition of William de Morgan pottery featuring dishes, pots and tiles priced from £150 to £25,000.
