As usual the event will emphasise the importance of London as the centre of the Asian art market with selling exhibitions at a wide range of galleries right across the capital, carefully synchronised with an impressive schedule of museum exhibitions and special lectures.
Entries are already being received from participating galleries for the two Outstanding Work of Art awards. There are two categories, for two- and three-dimensional art, both sponsored this year by Antiques Trade Gazette.
Judging will take place in late September and entries must be in by September 17. A shortlist will be published in the Antiques Trade Gazette with the winners to be announced at a special lunch at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge in November. Award winners receive a commemorative plaque and a £500 prize and will be profiled in the Antiques Trade Gazette during the event.
