But this was not really reflected in sales and, although quite a few of the exhibitors had an excellent outing, many found trade slow. Nevertheless, the quality of stock was much admired and dealers were especially pleased to make so many new contacts from the East Anglian region.
Mixed views seen in glass
ACCORDING to Hertfordshire organiser Paul Bishop, who works as Oxbridge Fairs, the attendance was up at his fourth Cambridge Glass Fair, held at Chilford Hall Vineyard on September 12.
