They already have outside pitches at the September Shepton and these have swelled the gate considerably. Rick Hill, Shepton fair manager, said: “We are confident that the July fair can reap the same rewards for buyers and stallholders. The additional pitches give regular stallholders the opportunity to sell to a much larger number of buyers and also increase the variety of stock available.”
The Shepton Mallet fair is held at the Royal Bath & West Showground six times a year.
Outside pitches for Shepton in July
FOR a summer boost to their Somerset showground fixture, DMG Antiques Fairs are introducing outside pitches to the Shepton Mallet Antiques & Collectors Fair to be held over the weekend of July 9 to 11.
