Going by the name Oliver Von Mecklenberg-Schwerin, the man worked for an Oxfordshire antiques dealer as gallery manager where the offence is thought to have occurred.
He is believed to be a Belgian national and has connections in the antiques trade. He was recently reported as being seen at an antiques fair in the south of the country, working for a London-based art and antiques firm.
