The library, which also has a substantial collection of reference books and is housed at the Courtauld Institute in London, has recently introduced readers’ registration, with tickets available at £5 which will be valid until the end of the year.
The new policy is due to be reviewed later in the year.

Witt Library fees
THOSE wanting access to the 1.8m photographs and reproductions of paintings, drawings and engravings at the Witt Library will now have to register and pay a fee.
