Approximately 1,500 lots of extraordinarily fine and important glass of all epochs will be called up in two sessions. Passion, individuality and knowledge distinguish four Glass Collections highlighting the sale.

During the first session on Friday 11th March, Dr. Fischer is offering the remarkable Dr. Claus Arendt Glass Collection of over 400 pieces dating from the 16th to the 20th century, as well as 40 lots of glass reference books.

The Saturday 12th March session comprises a beautiful Vienna Collection of fine vases by the Loetz Manufacture Klostermühle, followed by a fascinating Frankfurt Collection of Studio Glass with objects by American, German, Japanese and Czech artists including Vernon Brechja, James R. Harmon, David Hasslinger, Michael Cohn, Willem Heesen, Klaus Moje.

One of the many highlights of the sale is a Saxonian tankard with cover, dated 1578 – estimate 50,000 Euros.

The sale also comprises Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces including very rare and interesting vases by Emile Gallé, Daum Frères, Rene Lalique, Joseph Hoffmann, Michael Powolny.
