The men, pictured right, were caught on CCTV stealing a Minton majolica oyster dish from the Lamb Antiques Arcade in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and have also been identified as the thieves who took a valuable tea caddy and jewellery from the Swan at Tetsworth earlier in the year.
At the Lamb Antiques Arcade, they entered the premises separately. Both eventually made their way to the cabinet which held the oyster dish. One subtly took out a piece of lock-breaking equipment that he had concealed in his trousers and opened the cabinet. He then removed the dish and placed it in a heavy-duty bag carried by the other man. They then relocked the cabinet and left separately.
