The copper food hedgehog mould that made £1150 at Tamlyns’ sale.
Tamlyns' sale held in Bridgwater on October 2 included this unusual copper food mould in the form of a hedgehog, standing 7in (17cm) high.
It was part of a collection of late 19th/early 20th century moulds consigned from Cornwall that all carried the initials AC.
Three very determined telephone bidders saw it race to £1150 (plus 15 per cent buyer's premium).
