The long-running West Palm Beach Antiques & Collectibles Show held eight times a year at the Americraft Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds has been bought by veteran show promoters Kay and Bill Puchstein and Yvonne and Jim Tucker.

The name of the show will be changed to the West Palm Beach Antiques Festival (the first on January 2-4), but the venue and the 2009 schedule will remain unchanged.

DMG Antiques Fairs, owners of a quartet of UK showground events, say there will be no quick sale of their portfolio of antiques fairs despite a 2007 strategic review undertaken by parent company DMG World Media that took the decision to downsize the company’s worldwide interests in the antiques business.

The sale of the West Palm Beach Antiques & Collectibles Show follows the sale of the IFAE’s high-end Palm Beach event back to its founder David Lester in June and the management buyout of ATG and all its ancillary businesses in October.
