Known as Jeremy Coombs, he is suspected of conning several members of the trade out of thousands of pounds in payment for specialist gallery lighting that was never delivered.
Several dealers have come forward to report him, but the police would be interested in hearing from anyone else who thinks they may also have had dealings with him.
