Traders were angry that an earlier meeting was cancelled, with the police citing lack of time because of the busy summer of Jubilee and Olympics. They are concerned about a rise in robberies and reduced police patrols.
But the new date is this week - on Wednesday, July 18, from 6-7.30pm at Lighthouse West London, with Kensington and Chelsea borough commander CS Jason Gwillim attending.
Although the meeting is not a specific dealers/police one, and is for discussing policing across the borough, it is a chance for traders to ask questions about reduced police cover in the market area on Saturdays.
A more specific dealers' meeting may well be held in future, but no details of this are available yet.
