The 24ft long painting of a Yorkshire bluebell wood, called Pushing Paint, is one of 20 large landscapes by Harrogate artist Hugh Miller on show in the Leyburn auctioneers' new development. The gallery spaces are designed to showcase artists and exhibitions, as well as items and collections ahead of auction. The project brings The Auction Centre up to 82,000 square feet of space, with Tennants saying this makes it "the largest multi-purpose auction house in the UK".

The Hugh Miller exhibition - including giant cityscapes of London, Edinburgh and Paris - runs until October 18. More details about the major Tennants expansion will feature in a future edition of ATG.
