He has been so encouraged by the success of his antiques, collectors and vintage fair held at Lingfield Park Racecourse, launched last year, that he plans two annual fairs at Brighton Racecourse.
The first one at this venue outside the town, overlooking Brighton Marina, is on Sunday, August 28.
Mann said of his new event: “Some of our dealers from Lingfield will be there but also plenty of non-Lingfield dealers are joining us, which is good for the fair. We hope to be full with about 160 tables and with a few weeks to go we are already well booked.”
For a place the size of Brighton, with plenty of antique, mid-century, vintage shops and fleamarkets, it is perhaps surprising that there are no dedicated fairs of this type, so this event is a welcome addition.
The next fair at Lingfield Park Racecourse is on Sunday, August 7. The photo here shows a view from a previous event.
