The auction house is hosting Sculpture in the Square between May 23 and June 29 and will include a dozen works that will be offered in its Modern British Art and Impressionist & Modern Art sales in June.

The sculptures are by artists including Lynn Chadwick, Barry Flanagan, Elisabeth Frink, Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore and the event coincides with the opening of this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, which runs from May 23-27.

Barbara Hepworth’s 'Curved Form' (Bryher II) (1961) is estimated at £1.5-2.5m.

The exhibition includes works from The Tuttleman Collection, put together by collectors Edna and Stanley Tuttleman, such as Barbara Hepworth’s Curved Form (Bryher II) (1961).

Exhibition curator Nicholas Orchard, senior director of modern British and Irish art at Christie’s, said: “This exhibition offers viewers an opportunity to appreciate leading modern sculptures within the landscape surroundings that the artists intended for them.”
