Supported by Westminster City Council, the Antiques Anonymous art, antiques and design flea market will take place in Church Street in north-west London on Sunday, September 24.

The dealers from the area, including those in Alfies Antique Market, will be joined by 50 antique, vintage and design-focused dealers from elsewhere.

The street market will coincide with the last day of the London Design Festival. A Westminster City Council spokesman said: “There has already been a great deal of interest in this first event, and I'd encourage people to visit this diverse and vibrant part of London to give it their support so that it can become a regular event on the London event calendar.”

Dealers already signed up to take part include vintage fashion, textiles and jewellery firm Samaya Ling Vintage; Dutch art, graphics and industrial design-focused Diagonal Furniture;  furniture, art and lighting dealer Retro Living; architectural salvage firm Retrovius; and Rag & Bone Bros.

The Antiques Anonymous event is designed to promote the range of businesses in the area and attract visitors from nearby districts in the hope they will eventually shop in the area regularly.
