One of the major aims of the new website is to increase the amount of objects visible online and the site has been designed so that, for the first time, dealers can upload their stock directly to it. Shoppers can search dealers’ specific pages as well as browse via filters and use currency convertors for overseas customers.

Currently around 3000 objects are listed on the new website, representing 10% of the stock available from the 150 dealers at the centre. Managing director Robert Miller hopes to increase that number to 5000 items by the end of the year and encourage the increasing numbers of online sales that the centre is already experiencing.

“Our new website, which has taken a year to develop, reflects our desire to stay one step ahead in what is an increasingly competitive online market,” says Miller.

Among Miller’s other projects was a recent £30,000 redesign of the centre’s coffee shop. The website was redesigned with digital strategy and development company TJS.
