More than 270 dealers have converged on Maastricht to exhibit at TEFAF, now in its 30th year. It is divided up into nine sections, the largest of which is TEFAF Antiques, though it is also traditionally associated with Old Master paintings.

It is the first edition of the European event since the launch of the two TEFAF New York fairs leading to speculation over how many US visitors Maastricht will draw.

This year's fair reflects its growing interest in 'new markets', including tribal and contemporary art, and also noticeable walking around the fair are innovative stand designs and healthy visitor numbers.
