Founded in 2002 by Jörg Wisniewski, the Lot-tissimo.com website lists art and antiques auctions from across Europe. Around 270 auctioneers use the portal which has listed 12 million lots since 2002.
The deal will allow auctioneers to list and webcast their sales on Lot-tissimo.com, auction.fr and thesaleroom.com, providing auctioneers with a presence in Europe’s three largest art markets (the UK, France and Germany) through one catalogue upload and a single operator app.
The two companies have had a relationship since 2010 when ATG first provided technology for live internet bidding for Lot-tissimo.com.
John-Paul Savant, Auction Technology Group CEO, said: “This is a great step for our company.
