Produced in 1944, it features a dramatic image by British artist Clive Uptton depicting troops landing on the French beaches. The text says: This is the Year! It’s up to us to let ‘em have it! According to Talbot, it was produced two months before D-Day and is possibly based on the Anzio landings.

Son of Admiral John Talbot, who served in the D-Day invasions, the dealer returns to Normandy every five years for commemorations of the landings. He is currently in France for the 75th anniversary.

He owns Covent Garden shop Grosvenor Prints, which specialises in antique prints.
