Bidders vied for a collection of memorabilia from the 1970s science-fiction television series Blake's 7 at auction at Reeman Dansie in Colchester.

The group came from the family of costume designer Nicholas Rocker who worked on the show that ran on the BBC between 1978-81.

Estimated at £60-£80, the costume designs, photographs, original drawings and autograph album sold to a buyer on thesaleroom.com at a hammer price of £5200 on March 12.

The late actress Jacqueline Pearce, who died in September 2018, is among those featured in the photos in the collection. She played arch-villain Supreme Commander Servalan in the show.
