Major works by 20th century abstract artist Sir Terry Frost RA (1915-2003) feature in David Lay’s Fine Art auction in Penzance on April 27.
Taking the top spot among over 500 lots is Black Sun, 1978, which measures a sizeable 7ft 5in x 5ft 2in (2.26 x 1.58m).
A commando in the Second World War, Frost was captured and sent to various POW camps where he learned to paint, encouraged by fellow prisoner and artist Adrian Heath.
Estimate £40,000-50,000.
