From father to son
A saleroom in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has welcomed in 2017 with a new name and a new owner.
The company has changed its name to Converse Auctions from Gordon S Converse & Co, founded by Gordon Converse, who began his career as a horologist and an appraiser on the the US TV series Antiques Roadshow. Converse Auctions is now solely owned and operated by Gordon’s son Todd (left). He had already been working and learning under his father, and has 15 years of experience.
To underline these links, the family’s ancestral crest is proudly displayed on the new logo.
