The event is a celebration of botanical art by UK and international artists. Running from July 11-12 in RHS Lawrence Hall in London, it showcases plants from around the world through illustration, photography and craft.

Perquin, meanwhile, will offer blooms in the forms of brooches, earrings and bracelets, some from well-known names such as Cartier and Tiffany. Among the species represented on her stand are the rose, hibiscus, cactus, beech and dogwood, each of which is offered in its own small, ornamental flower pot.
“There is a whole language in the giving and wearing of flowers. Mine are a permanent reminder of what nature and nurture can achieve,” she says. “Some of the jewellery is botanically correct, while other examples use the flowers more creatively.”
The RHS Plant and Art Fair hosts 40 competition artists showing works on a variety of botanical subjects. Other exhibitors offer plant-inspired design, art and craft, and interior design students from the Chelsea College of Art display conceptual flower-show pieces. This year there is a new photographic competition, too, while a programme of free talks and live demos returns.
As she looks forward to the upcoming fair, Perquin says: “I will be in my element alongside the celebration of the best that can be created by growers and botanical artists.”
