At the Great Seaside Vintage Fair held in the coastal town of Whitby in North Yorkshire on Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22, 50 dealers will be selling fashion and homewares from the 1920s to the ‘80s in the Whitby Pavilion overlooking the sea.
Organiser Caroline Brown said: “Stock ranges from Art Deco fashion to 1980s jewellery with plenty of frocks, hats, handbags and swimsuits in between, plus mid-century to industrial furniture.”
Launched in 2010 as an annual event, it was such a success that Brown holds a second seaside vintage fair in the town in October to coincide with the annual 1940s weekend in nearby Pickering.
She added: “This fair is our most successful in terms of footfall, at 2000-2100 for both the July and October weekend fairs.”
