On September 25 in Colwyn Bay, Welsh auction house Rogers Jones & Co will offer this 17th century longcase clock by Daniel Mussard of London.
Among its features is a marquetry work and ebonised case and a brass and silvered dial. It has been consigned from a deceased estate in north Wales and is estimated at £3000-5000.
More than 50 works by the late sculptor John Robinson (1935-2007) will go under the hammer at Summers Place Auctions on September 25 in Billingshurst, West Sussex.
The group spans much of his 40-year career, from his earlier figurative work, which mainly focused on children and athletes, to his later more abstract forms. Bronzes make up the bulk of the group with several resin sculptures, stainless steel and plaster works also included.
This 6ft 6in (1.98m) long bronze resin group titled Peace was modelled in the late 1960s when the artist was heavily influenced by Rodin’s work.

This Second World War ‘London Blitz’ George Medal pair was awarded to PC Walter G Taylor for his rescue work during the Second World War.
PC Taylor had been off duty in plain clothes during an air raid in November 1940 when a high-explosive bomb partly demolished a house in Kensington, trapping several people. His subsequent heroic efforts to rescue those that were trapped inside led to the award of the honour.
They will be sold with an assortment of original paperwork at Dix Noonan Webb in Piccadilly, London, on September 26.

A sale of books, manuscripts and works on paper at Forum Auctions in London will include this cartoon by Max Beerbohm (1872-1956) of Hugh Cecil Lowther, fifth Earl of Lonsdale.
The 12 x 8in (31 x 19cm) pencil watercolour, dated 1921, is one of at least nine caricatures of Lowther by Beerbohm and is inscribed in ink with: Deeply embedded in the esteem and affection of the British Public.
A keen sportsman and hunter, Lowther was chairman of Arsenal Football Club for a brief period in 1936 and later became the club’s honorary president. He was also a competent boxer and established The Lord Lonsdale Challenge Belt, commonly known as the Lonsdale Belt, the oldest championship belt in British professional boxing.
