An Etruscan bronze figure of a warrior is among the entries to a sale of antiquities and tribal art at Chiswick Auctions on September 25 in west London. The small 3½in (9cm) piece possibly depicts the Greek hero Hercules in a typical combat pose and comes from a private collection.

A 13in (33cm) high Art Nouveau Wileman & Co China Foley Intarsio longcase clock is guided at £300-500 at Halls’ September 26 sale in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

The c.1900 miniature piece was designed by Frederick Rhead and is decorated with a woman blowing dandelions and the inscription Prithee, What’s O’Clock.

A trio of Georg Jensen Danish sterling silver goblets with bead-decorated wasted stems will go under the hammer at Bishop & Miller on September 22 in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

Each piece measures 4in (10cm) high and together are guided at £200-300.

The second tranche of a large single-owner sale of Worcester porcelain is due to go under the hammer at Derby saleroom Bamfords on September 26, where a scarce ogee-shaped chocolate cup and saucer in the Fence pattern is guided at £100-150.

The c.1765 piece, which comes with crescent marks and a label for the Wright Collection, is one of few known to combine this shape with blue and white decoration.
