Run for the past 37 years by the Rotary Club in aid of local charities, the Wilton House Car Boot is held at Wilton House, the seat of the Earls of Pembroke.

This event is huge and involves around 700-plus car boots and 10,000 visitors raising about £15,000 for the club’s charities.

The boot runs from 9am-2pm with gates open to sellers from 6am.

Book fair

This Sunday, August 18, the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association is also in Wilton with its 20-dealer antiquarian and out-of-print book fair which runs in the village at the Michael Herbert Hall.
