An Apulian-Corinthian helmet from the late 5th-early 4th century BC, estimated at £8000-12,000 at Lyon & Turnbull’s African & Oceanic Art & Antiquities auction in Edinburgh.
With incised decoration of boars on each cheek, it is estimated at £8000-12,000.
It was previously in the collection of Austrian-German arms and armour collector Axel Guttmann (1944-2001).
