Greek gold oak wreath from the late Classical to early Hellenistic period, c.4th-3rd century BC, estimated at $150,000-250,000 at Christie’s antiquities sale in New York.
The 17½in (44.5cm) wide wreath is estimated at $150,000-250,000.
It has provenance to a private Swiss collection from the 1930s-60s and was sold at Sotheby’s antiquities auction in London in July 1988.
