This late 19th century cameo glass vase by the Stourbridge maker Stevens & Williams sold for £3300 at Michael J Bowman’s auction.

Carved with hydrangea blossom, the 12½in (32cm) tall vase was etched with the artist’s name, EE Rowley and engraved to the foot rim Stevens & Williams, Stuart Hill.

It came with a paper label for the Honeybourne Museum.

Estimated at £1500-2000, it sold to a UK dealer against online competition at £3300.
