This 9in (23.5cm) high Mayan culture ceramic vase, above, from Guatemala, c.600-900AD, will be one of the 80 lots.

It features a polychrome painted frieze of a palace scene with a ruler seated on a throne attended by musicians and has a provenance to Emile Deletaille in Brussels, from whom it was acquired by the vendor in 2002. The estimate is €60,000-80,000.
