The dealership ran on Kensington Church Street for 30 years before selling up, but this year opens near the corner of Portobello Road at 285 Westbourne Grove from November 22-December 21.
“As anyone in the antiques trade will know, it is almost impossible to give up the hunt for things that interest them. The lure of a good market, shop or auction house is too irresistible,” says Arieta.
Objects on offer have been collected throughout the year from northern Europe, Italy, Africa, the Americas and beyond, and the temporary space gives them a chance to offer some of these pieces back to Christmas shoppers and collectors alike.
