The 2 x 3ft (61 x 91cm) painting  by motoring artist Dion Pears (1929-85) captures a scene from the 1933 Monaco Grand Prix where the winning driver was Achille Varzi in a Bugatti T51.

The annual show kicks off with a preview day on September 14 at the gallery in Eye, Suffolk. It celebrates the golden age of travel with its usual mix of classic cars, aeroplanes and steam vehicles.

Posters, signs, sculpture and various travel items compiled over years of collecting, mainly from local homes, are available alongside the paintings.

The show can also be viewed online.
