Vendor not so sad about this price

Paul McCartney’s 'Hey Jude' handwritten lyrics, $910,000 including premium at Julien's.

Fifty years to the day, California saleroom Julien’s held its All Beatles auction online. The stand-out item was McCartney’s Hey Jude handwritten lyrics guided at $160,000 but sold at $910,000 including premium.

They were used for the recording of the song at Trident Studios, London, in July 1968.
