1 What is one little-known fact about your field?
That you can put a mirror in a frame. It was also an important discovery for me that you can take a mirror out of a frame.
2 What is exciting about the market this year?
The strong sense of comradeship within the trade, which was evident to me during lockdown.
There was a lot of trader-to-trader buying and selling. It is vital for the trade to look after each other in order for it to thrive.
I found Drew Pritchard’s Sunday surgeries on Instagram were a particularly positive example of this.

3 What are you excited to be doing now lockdown is easing?
To get back on the road treasure hunting. I think most will say that it is most exciting part of the job – on the whole I have not been disappointed.
4 What is one object you couldn’t do without?
A tape measure.
5 Real ale or espresso martini?
Both – but not on the same evening.
