A Worcester underglaze blue armorial piece from c.1770 offered for £12,000 by Albert Amor.
The hound crest is associated with four families with the initial W – Warren, White, Wreahoke and Wyllie.
Made c.1770, the mug is offered in Albert Amor’s most recent catalogue which features 95 examples of ceramic and porcelain.
It emerged in a regional auction house sale in 2019 (see ATG No 2410) and is priced at £12,000.
