A pair of silver and enamel cufflinks with the royal cypher of George VI houses in a presentation box by Plante of Bury Street, London, £1300 at Lawrences of Crewkerne.
They are accompanied by an invitation to attend Her Majesty’s Afternoon Party at The Palace of Holyroodhouse on June 27, 1952 – among the first events held by Elizabeth II after her father had died earlier in the year.
Estimated at £60-80, they sold for £1300 at Lawrences of Crewkerne on January 16.
