Petworth dealer Sara Hughes has launched a fair in nearby Petersfield.
The first is on Sunday, February 23, with up to 50 dealers in the town’s festival hall.
Sara Hughes, whose shop Phoenix Antiques is opposite the entrance to Petworth House, said: “As well as the shop, I have been running vintage fairs in village halls in the Petersfield area for three years and also stand at military fairs during the summer so I decided to combine the three and have a larger event in Petersfield to run four times a year.”
She added: “Karen Dalmeny, of ITV’s Dickinson’s Real Deal, has kindly agreed to open the fair and will stay on to give free valuations.” Standholders at the fair include Surrey Militaria, Trevor Towner Antiques, Tom Lloyd Books and Mother Ducking Vintage.
