The view is slightly upstream from Fulham Bridge, which is visible in the picture with a stagecoach crossing.
The work was later in the collection of surgeon Robert Victor Cooke (1930-87), who bought Athelhampton House in Dorset to house his extensive array of 16th and 17th century furniture, paintings and works of art.
Now it is offered for £5200 by London British art specialist Karen Taylor, who includes it in her online exhibition Box of Delights.
The varied catalogue has been selected to suit this winter with images such as a depiction of home schooling and various interiors as well as fodder for armchair travellers including views of the Alps, north Africa and Jerusalem.
Each purchase qualifies for free gift wrapping and UK delivery, hence the name of the show. It launched on November 1.
