Part of an August 2 auction at Canterbury Auction Galleries (24% buyer’s premium), the document dated October 7, 1760, appoints James Murray “…Governor of our Town of Quebec, and of all the Lines and Fortifications thereof, and of the Dependencies of Quebec”.
