1 How did you get your start?
Being the children of an antiques dealer, my brother and I joined the family business early on before we ventured out on our own.
Our focus was – and still is now that I’ve joined forces with my wife – to buy and sell high-quality pieces of art and craftsmanship.
2 What is one lesson you would like to pass on to future generations of dealers?
Deal in something you’re passionate about or forget it!
3 What is one great discovery you’ve made?
During a holiday trip in Scotland, while driving around with all three kids in the car complaining about the amount of stops at antiques shops, we did find a magnificent piece of Blue John that more than paid for the trip – didn’t shut the kids up though.
4 What do you collect personally if anything?
We deal in what we like ourselves so no need to collect anything else.
5 Real ale or espresso martini?
Espresso martini please.
